Today I went to Kroger for my weekly grocery shopping trip. It was a pretty good week as I saved 62% on groceries. I think it could have been a bit better but I decided to splurge on a few things as I had a huge craving for Hummus and pita chips and then Thai Lettuce Wraps for dinner tomorrow night. Mmmmm yummy! I rarely EVER would spent $4.49 for a Peanut Sauce for my wraps but it is just too good to pass up - then again I did have a $4 off coupon to Kroger so that got it down to $.49! Ok that made me feel less guilty!
This week Kroger's Mega Event allowed me to save even more. The Mega Event is: Buy 10 of Participating Items, Get $5 off your Purchase Price. Note: The prices reflect the $5 off the purchase price. I personally bought 20 items in the Mega Event. Here is what I bought:

So as you can see, I bought normal items without coupons but I was still able to spend less and save more! I was able to stockpile on veggies, salad dressing, razors, Almond Milk for the lil guy, and potato chips!
