If you don't keep your marriage spontaneous, things can get complacent and a bit boring if you just rely on the normal day to day routine and sometimes you can forget that the "little things" add A LOT to a marriage relationship. We can get so caught up in making sure our kids eat, get to soccer practice, get bathed, etc that we forget to keep the "spark" in our marriage.
There is a blog that I absolutely ADORE in the sense that it can really bring some pep into your marriage - it is called The Dating Divas - Strengthening Marriages One Date at a Time.
Let me say right now that if you are not "dating" your husband - you need to get back at it! Take one night a week to go out with your hubby and have fun just like the old days when there weren't any kids crying in the background - just pure romance between you and the man you love!
Most recently The Dating Divas posted these sweet notes that can be used to give to your Honey for a surprise! I know that when my husband goes out of town on business, I put a note in from my 1 year old and myself but why not do this on a regular basis? You can put these notes in his favorite snack, in his lunch box or briefcase, or even in his car!!
