5/12 Walgreens and CVS Shopping Trip - Saved 83%

This week CVS and Walgreens had "OK" sales so I didn't get as much as previous weeks but I still managed to save 83% which is pretty awesome. The goal is usually 50 - 90%  - with 90% being very rare! So this week was a winner! This week I used my Register Rewards and Extra Care Bucks to really get my out of pocket expenses down. Once you start collecting them, you can do the same. Here are my purchases:

Walgreens

Paid $16.50 out of pocket and get back one $5 RR and one $3 RR

Final: $8.50 ($2.83 per pack of Pampers Jumbo diapers)

**Note: I actually used my RRs from last week to get my out of pocket down. I had $9 in RR which I applied to the purchase. I selected the WAG Deal of the Week : 49 cent Gummy Worms as my filler (remember 1 manufacturer coupon per item at WAG). I then was able to use my RR and get my out of pocket down to $10.68 with $8 in RR for next week.

I intended on getting a few more things such as the Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner $2.99 BOGO with 2 cpns for $.75 off but had to get a rain check - will squeeze that into next week's purchase.
