6/7 Trip to Publix - Spent $24.09 Saved $61.68

I made a trip to Publix last night since I haven't had the chance all "Publix week" to get my coupon on! I usually like to get it done when the ad comes out so nothing is out of stock but my baby has been sick so that prevented me this past week.

I spent $24.09 and saved $61.68 - 72% savings!!! YAY!!! This trip I had a Publix coupon: $5 off $50 which helped to lower the total out of pocket expenses thanks to a wonderful lady in Titusville! :) Before coupons, I was at $50.14 so it definitely took some careful planning on what to buy based on stuff I needed/wanted and how much I was willing to spend. I really try to stay at $25 at Publix each week while staying within my price budget for each item ( ie. spending no more than $2 for Laundry Detergent or $1.50 for Hellman's).

Here is what I did:

WOW you did great!!! How do you do it? Do you get the flyer and then go through your coupons? I'm kind of new to this and excited to get it going.

Thanks! I get the flyer via email each week from Publix.com and I only focus on the BOGO or "2/$??" and see if any of those match up with my Publix coupons, Target Web Coupons, Winn Dixie coupons, and manufacturer coupons that I have in my binder. I have been building a stockpile of items that my family uses so I don't have to buy anything usually except produce for the week, so I usually only buy the items on sale and budget that amount. There are also great blogs to check out that can help you with the coupon matchups. I like iheartpublix.com and publixcouponqueen.com. :)
